As we gear up to celebrate Americas favorite holiday, the 4th of July, we are reminded that it is officially Summer. And with endless blue skies and beautiful weather comes infinite opportunities to skate. The Stylesight team recently attended the unveiling of Converse’s latest signature skate shoe, inspired by original team rider Kenny Anderson, the KA-ONE. The special event took place at the Crewest Gallery in downtown L.A.
Not only was this the first opportunity to see the sneaker up close, guests were also able to view photography from Kenny’s epic, nose-manual journey, from the city of angels to sin city in his Converse sponsored video aptly titled “L.A. to Vegas.” The video is now viewable on Converse’s website. The KA-ONE is based on the Classic Trainer ‘76 with subtle updates to fulfill today’s shredding needs. It’s a great look for Kenny’s first pro model. Look for them July 15th at any of your local Converse dealers. – Chester Berry
