Birmingham-based designer Kate Farley has released her first wallpaper, Hanbury, which extends from her Plot to Plot range. The contemporary geometric design is inspired by the formal borders and parterre composition of the gardens of Hanbury Hall, Worcestershire.
Following the tradition of mid 20th century designers such as Enid Marx, Peggy Angus and Edward Bawden, Farley uses sketching and block printing to play around with scale and create initial motifs. The Hanbury wallpaper is suitable for domestic or commercial interiors.
Kate Farley will be exhibiting her collection at Tent London & Super Brands, which will take place on 18-21 September 2014 as part of the London Design Festival.
