Halloween-Perfect Beauty Looks from the S/S 14 Runways
By Theresa Yee

Halloween-perfect makeup looks from the Spring 2014 runways.

Oct 30, 2013

As Halloween’s October 31 deadline approaches, beauty editors and makeup obsessors get more and more anxious. Why? Well, if you’re like me, you’ve not yet started shopping for your spooky nighttime look, but instead have been obsessively gathering inspiration images and filing them into a orange highlighted folder on your desktop marked “Halloween 2013.”

Sigh. A perfectionist like me always gets stage fright at the early stages of Halloween costume creating. Especially the beauty look. That’s really where it starts.

What to be?

No one wants to default to a witch, sexy kitten or flapper. (Footnote: I was a flapper two Halloweens ago and loved it).

Luckily, S/S 14 fashion week is here to save the day. Several designers this season created other-worldly, manic makeup masks, applications perfect to recreate for All Hallow’s Eve, including manic clowns, sexy mud minxes, vampy goths and hyper-groomed Barbies.

See below for some of my favorite, inspirational over-the-top looks from the runways.
