The Milan catwalk was transformed into a Gucci universe as Alessandro Michele explored the theme of travel in his latest spring collection.
Milan: Alessandro Michele’s first integrated collection seemed to promise “something for everyone,” offering a colourful mix of silhouettes that further rounded out the unique universe he’s creating at Gucci. An eclectic potpourri of previous hits like embroidered souvenir jackets and legitimized versions of counterfeit graphic t-shirts, it moves the needle because of its integrated presentation, as opposed to feeling like the next progression of the house under Michele’s tenure. — Jian DeLeon
