Good Wives and Warriors are the creative partnership of Becky Bolton and Louise Chappell. Their experimental approach to illustration has seen them catapulted into the mainstream world of consumer goods with a recent collaboration with Absolut Vodka to add to an impressive looking client list.
Bolton and Chappell met while studying at the Glasgow School of Art. Rebecca means ‘good wife’ and Louise means ‘warrior’, and together they have created some weird and wonderful illustrations and sprawling wall paintings. Their experimental collaborative approach to illustration and installation has led to projects with Diesel, Urban Outfitters, Adidas, MTV and Comme des Garcons.
Our highlight has to be Good Wives and Warriors creative use of enhanced color and creative expression of space. Some of their interior based collaborations visually draw you in with their bold use of graphic form and flowing design.
Right now the creative duo are based in London and have seen their creative approach to illustration drive interest from all corners of the globe with exhibitions in Europe, USA, South America and Australia.
