Cult luggage brand Globe-Trotter celebrates craftsmanship and noble British heritage with the release of a short video showing the manufacturing methods behind their hand made luggage in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire. Every individual case is constructed from vulcanised fibreboard; a unique material created in Britain during the 1850’s formed by multiple layers of bonded paper. Luggage handles and the iconic Globe-Trotter corners are produced by the leather team over a 5 day process on antique Victorian presses. The video highlights the luxury of craftsmanship and timeless aesthetic of the brand.
