London: For Spring summer 2015, Topshop Unique went for a trip down memory lane and sent forth a happy, lighthearted collection that drew on the “faded glamour of of the British seaside. From Pier to Pleasure beach at its core,” as the show notes stated, “here was a switched on youthful spirit, dancing all night in a sea sprayed celebration of youth culture that lives for the weekend.” Bold cycling jerseys, floral filly knickers and made for dancing pleats in a collectiion that was inspired by both equal parts sportswear and the dance hall; where girl meets tomboy in flirty, pretty dresses and at the same time, confirming the enduring cool of Unique. – Lizzy Bowring
