Eccentric foodsmiths, Sam Bompas & Harry Parr have recently launched a new book celebrating all things fruit.
Tutti Frutti “explores the gustatory implications of fruit salad”, through a visually-evocative narrative of recipes, historical food facts and mouthwatering photography.
With a focus on fresh fruit and healthy foodstuffs, Tutti Frutti makes a refreshing change from the influx of gourmet fast-food joints that have popped up across London in recent months.
Enlisting the help of some of the world’s leading chefs, artists and writers, including Martin Parr, Sissel Tolaas and Jennifer Rubell, the duo have explored and brought to life intriguing topics, such as “how blue became the international color for raspberries.”
Tutti Frutti is available to purchase now, and comes complete with a choice four of covers, fruit flesh end papers and a peelable fruit sticker on the cover. Keep watching the site for our forthcoming Influencers interview with Sam Bompas. – Samantha Fox
