Gap continue their eco-initiative partnership with Cotton Incorporated offering 30% off any pair of 1969 jeans when you bring in an old pair of jeans to a U.S. based store before October 20th. The jeans will then be recycled as home insulation and, as an added bonus, if you ‘like’ them on facebook, you get another 10% off.
Its called their ‘From Blue To Green’ program and is the second time they’ve released this offer, showing the company’s dedication to the environment and ecological issues.
Denim has been used as house insulation for a few years and the Ultra Touch product is the main source of such insulation, Its easier to handle than fiberglass and better for the environment. Once jeans are converted into insulation they will be donated to communities in need across the U.S.
