Gallagher’s Vintage Collection Returns

It’s an exciting day for the West Village as Gallagher’s Paper Collectibles re-opens it’s doors for the first time since 2008. Owner and collector Michael Gallagher originally opened his store in the East Village in the 80s. The shop quickly became the go-to store for fashion lovers with its unrivaled stash of vintage fashion magazines, books and photography prints. A recent partnership with Julie Anne Quay, the former editor of V magazine for VFiles (a new online social networking site) brought Gallagher’s goods back to the city.  The store re-opened today on Mercer Street and hosts over 400, 000 of his print collectibles up for sale, research and rent. – Jordana Longo
