Last night G-Star went all out to pamper ladies all around the globe with their ‘Women’s Night’ events.
During the night Stylists were on hand to walk guests through G-Star’s staple 3301 basic denim and the brand’s latest 3D denim evolutions, giving ladies fashion tips and G-Star trends for the new season, as well as lavishing food, drinks, hair, makeup and nails on the lucky ladies. The events spanned 141 stores in 28 countries, all on the same night- quite a feat! We sent our N.Y. Correspondent, Danielle Rinaldi, down the event at Lafayette St as a featured blogger, and we can report that it was crazy-busy and lots of fun, attracting a group of over 150 fashionable ladies with DJ Chelsea Leyland spinning tunes all night.
G-Star celebrated the event with four other featured bloggers alongside Stylesight; Jessica Conaster from Denimology, Samantha Lim from Fashion Indie, Lois Sakany from High Snobette and Wendy Lam from Nitrolicious who wore their favorite G-Star staples from the brand’s fall collection. Elle’s Market Editor Jade Frampton was the evening’s host.
It’s another key example of how the Amsterdam-based jeans giant really thinks outside the box as far as press and marketing are concerned. They are a forward thinking brand that publishes their own newspaper, hosts many customer and celebrity events, and really challenges the norms when it comes to casting their ad campaigns.
