New York: Phillip Lim has been almost 10 years making beautiful everyday classics accented with a sense of uniqueness. For his Pre-Fall 15 outing, the designer revisited his signature pieces, giving them an appealing feminine aesthetic. There were a few terrific pieces with charming details that embodied a youthful elegance throughout the collection.  Exquisite suits, sport-inspired bomber jackets and coats were properly tailored and left frayed at the hem. The designer incorporated more eclectic touches through the lineup – Peruvian lace, crochet and asymmetric ruffles adorned wrap skirts and dresses. Elsewhere, peacoats and hybrid outerwear accentuated his emphasis on the functional, while cigarette trousers and sculpted dresses were very womanly and appealing.  – Diego Sanchez
