The Stylesight reports for Fuji Rock are just in the process of going live on the our website and we took a delve into the image library to pull out key denim looks from Japan’s biggest and most vibrant festival.
Fuji rock is always known for layered styling, psychedelic print and pattern and clashing colors… well S/S 13 was even more vibrant than usual! Tie-dye tees, hyper-color patchwork prints and eye-popping tee shirt choices were everywhere. However, a key trend we noted this year was the choice of deep, saturated azure indigo denim separates used to temper all the color. The wide-cut indigo short was a top choice for both young men and juniors.
As far as total denim looks were concerned, festival goers opted for tonal looks of mid-indigo brights and frugal ecru shades. Brights looked retro, playful and boho against layered festival gear and all-weather prints and patterns, whereas worker inspired ecru items such as bib n brace dresses and antiqued white shorts, created a contrast to all the color.
