Italian denim powerhouse Diesel has unveiled its first large-scale concept store in Tokyo’s Shibuya district that goes above and beyond their previous platforms allowing you to do much more than fuel up on your streetwear favorites.

The impressive 10,763 square-foot space showcases the full range of Diesel collections, an assortment of original souvenirs and limited edition merchandise exclusive to this location across two floors in the Cocoti building.

If that isn’t enough, with the new lifestyle concept debuts Diesel’s home collection made up of a goose down filled sofa, bedding printed with photos of vintage stereo equipment and eye-catching printed pillows to name but a few key items.

As the design philosophy is dedicated to fueling a social environment, the attached cafe and art gallery aim to draw a crowd that is interested in the Diesel lifestyle. The restaurant, officially named, “Glorious Chain Cafe,” sticks to its roots in serving Italian fare and fine wine.

The in-house gallery’s first exhibition is “Black Sun,” a collaboration between Simon Henwood and Fannie Schiavoni  showing until February 23, 2010.
