From Perverse to Prim, Louis Vuitton Takes A Delicate Direction for S/S12 Accessories

This season’s Louis Vuitton show was a surprising example of prim, princess styling. In complete contrast to last season’s fetish fueled collection, that included tall rubber boots, riding crops and extreme corset belts this time around the decorative broderie anglaise and pieced crocodile leather ensembles were accessorized with new look bags, hair accessories and parasols.

Sugary, baby pastel-toned leathers drove home the 50s theme that inspired this decorative, S/S12 showcase. Candy colored “Speedy” bags , and neat boxy clutches were toted by the models who wore complementing pointed pumps. The look was finished off with precious pearl headbands and sparkling tiaras, evolving the trend for crowns and hair combs from previous season’s collections.
