Typography trends are continuously changing, and keeping track of new fonts and creative developments can be a timely process. For a one-stop font and type trend destination Stylesight’s graphic team finds Lettercult an expert resource.
This site is a mass of font inspiration with visual highlights of street type, illustrative fonts, creative logotype and new global type trends.
Another interesting area is their ‘Alphabattle Letters’ section where designers submit creative expressions through single letter designs – great visual design work.
One of their last posts is ‘the best of 2010’ which is an extensive visual exploration of new and more directional logos and typeface use from last year. This is a great inspirational pool of over 600 visuals, which have been submitted by some well-known type and logo creators.
If you’re after some font or type inspiration, Lettercult is definitely a site to track.
