American artist Eli Craven uses found imagery, vintage photographs and film stills from books and carefully folds them, forming new pieces of art.
This simple but effective method conceals and transforms the original image, allowing Craven to create her own narrative. Craven says, “As I looked through them, I really wanted to see them come together, touch lips, make love, whatever comes next, so I started folding them into one another.”
