Personal trainer and nutritional expert Steve Mellor of Freedom2Train is now in residence at Claridge’s hotel in Mayfair, London.

Mellor, an elite rower and marathon runner, and his team of personal trainers will offer hotel guests, members and the general public a bespoke, tailor-made workout session based on the Freedom2Train method.

The workout focuses on combining different exercises from HIIT, MetCon and Tabata with Yoga and Crossfit to improve fitness, stamina and to achieve a strong, lean and toned body.

Located on the hotel’s sixth floor, the newly re-furbished gym comes complete with the latest technogym equipment in a Art Deco inspired design. Guests will be treated to panoramic views of London while working out. Steve and his team will offer 1-2-1 sessions or group workouts in the gym.

Fusing fitness with health and wellbeing, Mellor also worked with Claridge’s executive chef, Martyn Nail, to derive a nutritional programme featuring freshly made pre-and-post booster drinks such as a espresso shot – to be consumed before workout – and coconut water – to drink during workout to keep the body hydrated.  A lunchtime super salad and a range of smoothies are also available.

One-2-one personal training sessions and packages start at £95 an hour.
