Cult-classic skin-care brand Aesop has unveiled its very first standalone store in Manhattan’s Grand Central Terminal.
Known for its exceptional store design, brown-bottle packaging and botanical-based ingredients, the Aesop kiosk encompasses it all. Director Dennis Paphitis and architect Jeremy Barbour cleverly designed the stand out of over 1,000 back issues of the New York Times; a nod to the brand’s appreciation for the arts and creative expression.
While the store stocks an edited version of Aesop products it makes up for it by debuting specials and exclusives, like the geranium leaf body scrub, rinse-free hand wash and Jet Set Kit. New York fanatics looking to pick up the full line of goods should keep their eyes peeled: the Aussie brand has two more stores in the works, one in Nolita and another on University Place.
