Coming on the heels of the much buzzed-about menswear show, the legendary Christian Lacroix label is taking tentative steps into womenswear, starting from the inside out with intimates and beachwear. The first images of the Provençal- and French Riviera-inspired S/S 12 collection have just been released courtesy of infamous Purple magazine founder and photographer Olivier Zahm.
For the relaunch of the lines, creative director Sacha Walchkhoff enlisted the help of French intimates label Lejaby. While Christian Lacroix conveys the ultimate in luxury and Parisian-chic, Lejaby brings over 80 years of lingerie expertise to the table, ensuring that the collaboration will rate high in style and quality.
For a relatively affordable price point of $215 to $360, ladies can own a little piece of Lacroix when the collection hits stores next January.
