Chris Gilbert, co-founder of Paper Denim & Cloth, is getting back into denim. His new line, Resin, hits stores in limited supply this fall. Gilbert uses Japanese denim and Asian production before a final trip to Los Angeles wash facilities. His plan is to keep his retail prices between $128 and $158. Gilbert recently spoke with Denimology.co.uk about his approach, “It became obvious that the world didn’t need another $200 denim line,” Gilbert said. “There was this gap in the industry that no one owned. My biggest goal is for someone to pick out a pair, try them on, and be shocked when they see the price.”
