London: Margaret Howell stepped away from her expected design aesthetic for Spring 2015. Instead she replaced it with a streamlined, minimalist approach and added subtle feminine touches. Sunray pleated skirts and tailored bra tops were the unexpected feminine additions. Classic tailoring in clean lines were executed in a punctuated palette of black, white, grey and plare olive green. The refreshing laid back silhouettes cut in lightweight materials such as cotton poplin , linen and soft silk crepes added to the commercial appeal of this casually elegant collection.– Lizzy Bowring
