London: Annette and Daniela Felder are changing with the times, leaving behind their tough black aesthetic for softer pastures, specifically an autumnal romp through rust-toned abstract photo prints and cozy knit textures. The designers said goodbye to the aggressive studding and risqué leather that has been their calling card for years, embracing fringed knit tops, silk tap shorts and oversized capes. The label still preserved its youthful attitude, conveyed loud and clear through a clingy tangerine knit dress with a swingy fringe skirt, relaxed silk tunics, and gold skater skirts. Ingenious details such as wide corset belts printed to match the frocks they cinched and elegantly twisted keyhole necklines elevated the collection, but a few of the plain jersey pieces seemed out of place next to braided corseting and delicate pointelle.—Nina Stotler
