Art & Sole the UK Sneaker magazine and blog recently approached a number of illustrators to produce some one-off artworks of their favorite sneakers. The blog’s author Nathan Gale was charged with selecting an eclectic mix of cutting edge illustrators to create a visual top ten of classic sneakers.
After the success of their Top Ten Sneakers by Owen Philips story, Art & Sole realized that the concept could make a great ongoing visual project for the blog.
This second installment of creative sneaker visuals was a collaboration between illustration agency Toy a collective of European designers, artist and illustrators. The artists involved so far include Chris Gray, Rob Flowers, Chris Martin, Jean Jullien, Jon Boam and David Sparshott.
Keep an eye on the Art & Sole blog for the next installment of creatively charged sneaker classics.
