While we are busy absorbing and analyzing everything that is happening on the runways from our New York and London Stylesight HQs, we have a team of street style photographers who are on the ground during fashion weeks season to capture the innovative and directional style of the show attendees. Ahead of our full Fashion Week Accessories Street Report we wanted to give you a sneak peek at some of our favorite looks so far.
Both London and New York have a very distinct difference when in comes to street style, yet this time around we see a variety of playful textures and eccentric shapes in both Fashion capitals.
In New York we have been seeing some interesting textural details, such as this knitted black leather clutch and chain embellished red leather Chanel shoulder bag. 30’s inspired tea glasses are also a popular silhouette, seen in delicate wire and bold graphic framed variations. Tribal jewelry re-worked in active sports materials gives a nod to a trend we have already noted for this season on the New York runways, and expect to see filtering through the rest of the cities.
The Christopher Kane gel-clutch from the fall 2011 collection is an amazing piece of modern innovative design and we are exited to see it on the streets during the London shows. Bold baroque eyewear makes an appearance, as well as large industrial-inspired jewelry; a strong trend for this Fall, which we called out from the F/W 11 Alexander Wang, and Lanvin collections.
