Fashion illustrations may be coming back in style. The cover of Harper’s Bazaar Australia will feature an illustration from David Bromley based on a January 2010 Editorial from Harper’s Bazaar Russia featuring Lily Allen. Known not only for her music but also for her unique style, the fashion muse was the new face for Chanel handbags last fall. This is a bold move for a magazine cover, and the result is quite impressive. We hope this will open the door to fashion illustration again, not only featured in magazines but in ads as well. This could be a good direction for denim brands, as long as a fashion rebel is involved, of course!
