Fashion East

London: Three designers presented as part of the Fall Fashion East program. For Ashley Williams it was 70s-influenced child-like animal graphics, patchworking and oversized denim, while Lou Alsop looked to punky layered shorts, monochrome graphics and unfinished chiffon. Finally, Helen Lawrence’s laser-cut felt tunics, mohair trousers and dark chambray pieces were simultaneously sophisticated and deconstructed. — Nina Stotler
