Exculsive: Prada launches its dreamy pastel pop A/W 15 campaign

Following a leak of one of the images a few days ago, we finally have a complete look at this season’s Prada campaign. Photographer Steven Meisel who also lensed the Miu Miu campaign this season shot the Autumn/Winter 15 advertisements.

The starkly bare studio images feature the same hair styling as first created for the brand’s runway show in March, a high bun pinned with an embellished clasp on the side of the head.

The spongy looking double faced jersey suits and 70s silhouettes make a boldly directional statement that perhaps was enough for Mrs.Prada to go for a minimal campaign; a modest contrast to the step-back-in-time that was the Miu Miu campaign this season.

The images are supported by an accompanying film directed by Dja and Ujin Lin which shows a continuous left to right pan in the same thematic staging as the print imagery. The pan shows models walking and posing in and out of the frame at various depths of field taking on an almost video game-like ambiance.

The cast of up and coming models includes Avery Blanchard, Estella Boersma, Inga Dezhina, Lineisy Montero, Ine Neefs, Greta Varlese and Maartje Verhoef.
