With “Happiness” the theme of this season’s Playtime Paris the mood throughout the international boutique-style trade show was more spirited than ever. The spectrum of “Day-glo” and “White Neon” palettes from brands like Bang Bang, Tannhauser and Moon et Miel definitely made us smile, along with the colorful trend spaces designed by Julie Malait of The Smallers. The happy vibes were also abundant at Milk Magazine’s design award ceremony and Playtime Loves Japan, a pop-up-shop selling merchandise from the exhibitors at 70% off to benefit Japan.
