Continuing our F/W 14 trade show coverage, the Children’s Team popped by Spain to visit Little Barcelona. The fifth edition played host to 31 exhibitors and moved to a new venue, Plaça dels Àngels. Bold patterns, ranging from watery batiks to crisp gem-inspired geos, appeared as gender-neutral designs. Chunky, vibrant knits added a hand-made aesthetic to collections. Animals appeared as statement pieces, popping up as intarsia cats or transforming onesies into elephant trunks.
