After checking out the latest F/W 14 trends in Florence, the Stylesight Kids Team took a trip to Amsterdam for Kleine Fabriek. Held from January 19-20, the show focused on active, street-ready looks with an emphasis on American culture–from Brooklyn-themed tees to a great outdoors sensibility.
Moving beyond bottoms, motocross details emerged on tops while a variety of new toggles, drawstrings and pieced details updated hoodies. Dressed up activewear was prominent for girls; sparkle details on sweatshirts and fleece jersey dresses lent an element of luxe to sporty silhouettes. Animals (polar bears, foxes, lions, birds and wolves) peered out across classifications, appearing in unexpected places including uppers on sneakers. Natural hues gave animal prints a more subtle touch.
