EVENTS | Hong Kong Toys and Games Fair


The Hong Kong Toys and Games Fair marked the first major trade show of 2011 (Jan. 10-13) and featured 1,915 exhibitors from 38 countries including China, India, Korea, Pakistan, Spain, Taiwan and Thailand. Up by 15 percent from 2010, more than 34,000 buyers flocked to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre with buyer attendance from outside Hong Kong up by 36 percent. Themed zones included the World of Toys Pavilion, jointly organized with Spielwarenmesse; Video Games Zone and Testing; Inspection & Certification Services; Candy Toys; Hobby Goods; Magic Items; Outdoor & Sporting Items; and Paper Products & Toy Packaging.
