Although Hurricane Sandy gave the Northeast a pounding, Halloween still went on! Giving kids some much needed levity, we caught sight of trick-or-treaters running around the city. Little ones paid homage to our heroes, dressing up as astronauts and firefighters. A menagerie of adorable critters roamed the streets, with tiny elephants, bears and giraffes out to play. We also spotted an Edward Scissorhands that would make Tim Burton proud. Sisters paired up and donned matching costumes, including zany magicians and deer.
