Held from January 21-23, the 72nd edition of FIMI, Spain’s largest international trade show, gave attendees a taste of upcoming Fall/Winter 2011 collections representing some of the world’s leading and emerging kids’ brands. Sixteen brands walked the runway, including Bambolina, Barcarola, Boboli, Condor, Elisa Menuts, Giesswein, Girandola, Laranjinha, Larrana, Lea Lelo, Mim-Pi, Paglie, Tuc Tuc, Tumble ’N Dry, Tutto Piccolo and Oca-Loca.
Categories at FIMI include Kids Wear; Fashion Accessories; Furniture and Accessories; Textile Products; Commercial Equipment; Footwear; Accessories; Layette and Toys; and Travel Gear. Newcomers to the show included Italian brands Ido and Sarabanda; Converse; Calvin Klein Underwear; and Chloe, distributed by France-based Children’s World Fashion.
