Bonjour! The Children’s Team is currently in Paris covering the Playtime show. Over 400 brands from around the world are showing at the three-day fair which has been bustling with buyers. Similar to Bubble London, a dapper nautical theme was present with a host of candy-colored vertical stripes, updated nautical motifs (think bearded captains, anchors and life preservers.) Inventive prints and patterns continued to amaze with a ton of colorful retro prints, yummy fruits, vintage Hawaiian and cool conversationals on everything from cotton one pieces to formal dresses. Color palettes remained eye-catching with neons paired with neutrals. Autumnal favorites like rust and golden yellows were reworked into S/S 13 collections while bright red, coral and tangerine seemed inspired by summer sunsets.
