Yesterday, the Children’s Team stopped by Children’s Club to check out what’s new for S/S 12. Exhibitors reported steady traffic and an overall successful summer edition. Held at Pier 94 from July 31 to August 2, Children’s Club featured a balanced mix of veteran brands and newbies. New to the U.S. market, France-based Notify showcased a rainbow of colored and printed denim for sizes up to 18. Known for their luxe cashmere for adults, Christopher Fischer unveiled their kids’ line–we love their sweet intarsia sweaters. We checked out Project Runway winner Jeffrey Sebelia’s new kids’ line La Miniatura, took in the island-y vintage prints at Winter Water Factory and snapped pics of Jet Setter’s clever messages. We spotted a ton of color, American Indian details (feathers and fringe) and cool retro repeat patterns of everything from donuts to cats.
