Forget minimalism: this edition of Euroluce (which only happens every two years) was all about chandeliers. Big, opulent, expensive, decadent chandeliers.
In fact, pieces showcased at the fair are so intricate and rich in details that some exhibitors had to put a mirror underneath them just to make sure visitors could see everything.
Chandeliers were never ‘out’, especially in trade shows. There’s always space for them, so what is different this year? The fact that they weren’t tucked into a few stands in corridors that no one goes to; they were out there in every other stand, shining bright and impossible to ignore.
