KING OF PAISLEY
Milan: Kean Etro is known for his rich prints and patterns, so it was no surprise that his inspiration for F/W 11 was Frederick II of Svevia, the King of Paisley, who the designer described as “a modern metaphor for art, life, culture and passion; an unexpected yet extraordinary encounter between India and Mitteleurope”. Mixing in cowhide for trim and footwear, the collection unfolded with sophisticated takes on traditional patterns and aristocratic styling.
