Christian Dior might have come under some major scrutiny as of late, but it has also made headlines for another reason: the opening of an exclusive exhibition at Le Bon Marché, celebrating the heritage and history of the legendary design house.
Set in the house colors of black, white and pale gray, the month-long show comprises a vast selection of looks–spanning Christian Dior’s own historic creations as well as the contemporary couture creations of his successor, the newly terminated creative director, John Galliano.
The exhibition takes viewers on a trip back through the various and numerous icons of Dior, using videos and pictures to personify the bygone days of the legendary New-Look of 1947 right up through to the present. What the future holds, no one knows…
