LONDON…Erdem Moralioglu delivered on the promise shown in his S/S 08 runway show with a collection full of intense colors and prints that “looked blurry, like a landscape speeding past when you’re on a train.” The fabrics used were also rich and dense, including double duchesse satin, moiré silk and lace. Shapes varied from long and slender to full volume for dresses and trenches. Perhaps the speeding train was a metaphor for a collection without borders, clothes that can easily transition through seasons and climates as well as from day into evening.
