Emilio Pucci

BOHO NO MORE
Milan: Peter Dundas left behind the bohemian gypsy he worshipped during the spring collections and focused on a much more restrained and sophisticated muse for Pre-Fall. This woman prefers a slim, body conscious silhouette, though she still looks for vibrant, hallucinatory prints. Dundas’ take on the classic Pucci motif worked well combined with simple, long sleeved sheaths and the addition of subtle lace paneling amplified the swirling repeat patterns. A lovely shade of teal complimented many pieces, even an edgy silk jumpsuit, and a Persian lamb coat with military fastenings and fur sleeves was both stately and elegant. Pre-Fall’s cleaned-up look suits both the house of Pucci and their growing clientele. —Nina Stotler
