Selfridges’ annual Bright Young Things initiative is back for a third year, taking over the windows of London’s leading department store.
Launched in 2010, the project aims to nurture and promote the “rising stars” of art, design, fashion and food, and this year comprises an in-store concept shop – designed by Bonsoir Paris – and an online platform, as well as the annual, window takeover that the initiative has become renowned for.
A total of 15 creatives and ones-to-watch have been chosen by Creative Director of Selfridges, Alannah Weston, to participate in this year’s showcase, including artist Eleanor Davies, set designer Clementine Keith-Roach, The Poundshop collective, food designer Tasha Marks of AVM Curiosities, and womenswear designer, Yeashin Kim – a decision based on “the strength of their creative vision and the outstanding quality of their craft,” explains Selfridges.
