We really like the latest collaboration between fashion brand Esprit and the Royal College of Art, who have selected three students from the MA Fashion program to each create a limited edition capsule collection for F/W 12.
The collaboration is the second to come from the luxury clothing brand and prestigious college in London, which is widely recognized for cultivating some of the best fashion and design talent the world over.
“Julia Mackenroth, Ryan Mercer and Rachael Hall truly embody the spirit of their generation. The subtle sophistication of Julia’s chunky knits update traditional jersey and Ryan’s Gerhard Richter-inspired Photoshop prints bring an urban edge to the equation, while Rachael Hall provides a street-wise definition of the contemporary bohemian,” explains Esprit on their website.
Scroll down for more images, which also feature the joyful illustrations and design direction of artist Andy Rementer. Rementer conjured up a playful universe of quirky and vibrant characters, inspired by Roman mythology, to promote the collections.
You can also check out key pieces from the collaboration via the Esprit website.
