Liz Payne's embroidery Instagram account is so inspiring

If you don’t already follow Liz Payne on Instagram, you need to do that ASAP. The artist from Sydney creates intricate hand embroidered textile artworks, and her Instagram account is a stunning display of all her creations.

Liz Payne’s collection displays both a controlled disarray and a fine art approach to stitching and embroidery. Bold, densely textured grounds with geometric shapes and haphazard patterns are boosted with clashing neon palettes that radiate playful energy and inspire with endearing imperfection.

The level of attention to detail is amazing, as her creations include hand-painted, embroidered creations that are beaded by hand.

Her Instagram account is a must-see for fellow textiles fans, but also for crafting newbies and novices, as she also offers up tipsĀ  such as a link to her Etsy blog where she customises footwear and accessories with her statement embroidery- which everyone can follow along with.
