The Limited has come to the rescue of stylish plus-size women everywhere with its new website, Eloquii. The new collection was born at a style event where several fashion bloggers voiced frustration to CEO, Linda Heasley, about the lack of chic plus-size fashion in the marketplace. The result is an assortment full of sharp, professional and fashionable classics that are translated from important runway looks each season. Other key pieces include tailored clothing with of-the-moment details and must-have fashion pieces like the cape, the blow blouse, the pleated maxi, the bomber jacket and the high-waisted pant. Better fabrics, current trends and an overall high end aesthetic are essential to the brand message.
Available in sizes 14-24, the brand has used multiple fit models—real customers of different sizes and shapes—to guide the process. The site offers a ‘Shape My Style‘ feature that identifies the customers body shape in a positive light – diamond, teardrop, heart, infinity or emerald. Currently, Eloquii is available online only, but executives at The Limited are hoping for a brick and mortar roll out if the launch is successful.
