New York: Danielle Sherman continued with the label’s aesthetic for fall. This season she visited the archives of the Quai Branly museum in Paris to look at African textiles dating back to the 1800s and from there, drew inspiration – focusing on natural, earthy colors, materials and texture blocking. There was an ease and coziness about this collection without it being too heavy. Sherman achieved this look by brushing the wool and alpaca upwards to create a “hairy” effect without the bulk. – Lizzy Bowring
