The Stylesight Graphics team visited the first installment of New Designers – the UK’s most important graduate design exhibition, bringing industry professionals face to face with the next generation of design leaders.
For its 27th edition, over 3,500 of the most talented graduates come together over the next two weeks at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London. It’s the place to spot the most current trends before they hit the main stream.
Stylesight spotted a number of key trends including spirograph line work, naive Scandinavian patterns and vibrant, oversized geometrics. Here is a quick snapshot of our favorite picks from the best Universities.
Falmouth University showcased an electric collection of hot, summery prints from tropical fruits to ditsy florals.
Leeds College of Art exhibited a wide variety of work, from intricate wood-block printing to cute personified characters.
Winchester School of Art highlighted their incredible attention to detail with a sophisticated collection of hand-rendered prints.
