Scouting through our latest batch of magazines one of our favorite, accessories heavy, men’s editorial shoots was from Austrian independent magazine, Indie, shot by photographer Niclas Heikkinen and styled by Anders Sølvsten Thomsen.
The tough retro biker looks are complemented with neat neckerchiefs, which we picked up on as a key item for next Spring/ Summer, and weighty metal accessories undoubtably inspired by the Karl Heinz Weinberger Halbstarke images.
This accessorized styling also gives a heads up to the emerging biker trend for men, Hells Angels-esque jewelry and heavy metal chains and collections of pins covering denim jackets denote a new aesthetic for men’s accessories that we think will play out over the next couple of seasons.
The added Western bolo ties and weighty trophy buckles also channel a revival in these decorative, native pieces, that we have also been charting on the streets and on the runways for the coming season.
