Ethical bath, body and skincare brand Bodhi & Birch has launched a new range of seven bath and shower products inspired by natural healing properties and traditional botanical remedies.
Years in the making, seven signature aroma therapeutic blends have been created that see an above average ratio of essential oils compared to most ‘natural’ products on the market today.
Formulated with twice the average amount of oils, this new range is considered a skincare product for the body.
The rejuvenating collection also contains lactic acid, an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that has anti-ageing and skin rejuvenating properties. It is known for its ability to loosen dead cells and promote new collagen growth in the dermis, and thus helps exfoliate and renew the skin.
Also included in the formula is gluconolactone, a poly-hydroxy acid (PHA) which is said to intensely hydrate and moisturise the skin, allowing for a longer-lasting fragrance and skin that appears more youthful over time.
Free of harmful parabens, sulphates and petrochemicals, the range is formulated using mild cleansers from coconut oil and fruit sugars to ensure no natural skin oils are stripped away during use.
New fragrances in the range include Camomile Sky – a delicate aroma of camomile, hyacinth, geranium and honeysuckle musk – as well as Siam Ginger – an Eastern-inspired blend of ginger, kaffir lime leaf and cardomon.
The Botanical Therapies range is available from www.bodhiandbirch.com with prices starting at £18.
