For S/S 12 Eastpak teamed up with hip Danish streetwear brand Wood Wood as their latest bag partner, coinciding with Wood Wood‘s 10 year anniversary. The bag range is a reflection of Wood Wood’s S/S 12 collection that was inspired by the North American desert and the great outdoors, harmoniously complementing Eastpak’s heritage. The bags are made from waxed cotton canvas to form simple shapes, and have a fittingly weathered finish. Geometric graphics became a less obvious form of branding for the bags, inspired by traditional Native American patterns and patchworks.
Eastpak’s previous collaborations include Kris Van Assche, Raf Simons, Rick Owens and Eley Kishimoto. These partnerships highlight Eastpak’s willingness to take risks, harness creativity and produce interesting product.
